Students interested in learning Modern Standard Arabic are welcome to enroll in the semester course of the International School on a part-time basis. During the academic semesters (October – January and February – June) Modern Standard Arabic classes meet three days per week for two hours each morning. Instruction is offered at the beginning level as well as intermediate levels if we have enough interested students. 

Academics
At the beginning of the semester, students will take a placement exam. This exam will be used to place students in the most appropriate class for their level of efficiency.  As the Modern Standard Arabic classes are relatively small, each student receives a great deal of personal attention and has many opportunities to interact with fellow students and with the instructor.

Housing
Part-time students are not eligible to live in campus housing.

Modern Standard Arabic is open to all students above the age of 18 with a high school diploma, as well as to adult learners.  Please click here for application procedures.
