Online Application Fee

All applicants must pay a non-refundable online application fee of $100 US in order to assure timely processing of applications.

 

Deposit – First payment

$1,000 US non-refundable deposit is due within 21 days from the acceptance date.

All students, including scholarship recipients, must pay the first $1,000 payment within the 21 days after the receipt of invoice in order to guarantee a spot in the program.

 

Second Payment

60% of remaining fees is due by September 1st

 

Third Payment

40% of remaining fees is due by March 1 (before Spring semester or Semester Bet)

 

Dormitory deposit

Please take into consideration that in order to secure a spot in the dorms (if requested in your online application) you are required to contact and pay directly to the dormitory offices. For additional information in regards to dorms payments please read the dorms payments instructions.

Methods of Payment

"The University of Haifa is able to accept payment in U.S. Dollars, Euro, or Israeli Shekel. If you choose to pay in Euro or Israeli Shekel, please make your payment according to the conversion rate of The Bank of Israel on the day you pay. However, the amount credited to your account will be based on the day your payment is deposited. If there is a difference, you will be asked to pay the difference. Bank transfers are acceptable in US Dollars and Euros only. Shekel transfers are only acceptable within Israeli Banks.

You may pay your fees in one of the following ways:

• Checks

If you pay by bank transfer:


1. Please save a copy of your receipt from the transaction for your personal records.
2. Please note that there are transfer fees charged by your bank or the intermediary (correspondent) bank, so be sure to transfer enough funds to cover your fees owed to the University of Haifa and any additional fees. If we do not receive the total amount due to transaction fees, you will be asked to pay the shortages.
3. Please note that it takes several business days for this payment to be processed.

 

• Cash

Tuition fees paid in cash is accepted in person only in one of the following currencies: US Dollars, Euro or Israeli Sheckels. Please bring the exact amount as we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide you with change.

 

IMPORTANT! We are unable to process credit card payments at this time. 

 

FAFSA

The University of Haifa participates in the United States Department of Education Student Financial Assistance Programs. Our OPE Identification number is 01045600 or G10456.

American students who are applying for a full degree MA Program at the University of Haifa might be eligible for Federal loans.
